Today I got my results! And guess what, I passed all my exams! I passed everything! :) I'm so happy I could cry!

Week three!

Today, me and some friends took the train to Bobbejaanland, a famous amusement park here in Belgium. We had lots of fun!

I crocheted my first little 'amigurumi'. (It's a pink bunny!)
The sewing at the end was a little sloppy, so I made it a scarf and a hat and now it looks just fine. Ahem.

Today I start one of my other 'summer challenges': making amigurumi. Those little plushies are so cute, I just have to try making them myself. I've always loved to crochet, so I hope it won't be too difficult. :)

Rule number 1 for a photo challenge: Always carry your camera with you. Seems logical..
That's one rule I don't follow.
I don't have a fancy smartphone I can take pictures with (yet), so it all comes down to the photocamera. But I won't take it with me ALL the time. Not when I go shopping, not when I go to class, ... It's just extra weight in my handbag and what would I do with a camera during class? :)

I bought this nailpolish with blue and gold glitters. Shiny!

Me and one of my friends worked on our paper for school. We managed to finish it, so that means a little less stress the next few days. ;)

Today our beloved little bunny died. She spent seven wonderful years with us, so of course she will be missed a lot.
It's always sad to say goodbye, but I'm glad she didn't have to suffer any longer, since she was ill the past couple of weeks.
May you rest in peace, sweet Pepsi.

Obviously, this photo wasn't taken today, but I don't think that matters in this case.

It has been raining the whole day! And there were a lot of thunderstorms throughout the day.

I have roller shutters on my windows, so it's always dark in my room. But in summer I like to wake up with daylight. So I make sure I don't fully shut them, so the sun can come shining through.

Today, my family came over to celebrate my birthday. We had a lovely dinner.
This photo shows two of my birthday gifts: a lovely, pink 'jewelry tree' and a new charm for my bracelet (in the cute box). I got a leather jacket and a handbag as well, but they didn't fit in the picture. ;)

Hi!

My name is Maurane and I'm an architecture student from Antwerp (Belgium). As if I don't already have enough to do, I decided a while ago that I want a new hobby. I tried painting for a while, but it turns out I'm not so good a painter. :p
I figured I needed a challenge. And because I've read so much about the 365 days challenges, I decided to try one myself: the 'A Photo a Day challenge'.

I really like to take photographs, so I hope I won't give up on this challenge!

Since yesterday was my birthday, it was the perfect moment to start this project. I'm new to this kind of challenges, so I don't really know which pictures to take, what to write with it,... But I'm just gonna do it my way. :) 

For a change, I didn't have a examen on my birthday so I could stay home, but my parents had to go to work in the morning. So when I went downstairs for breakfast, I found the table covered in hearts and a big envelope with my name on it.

Of course, I didn't spend the day on my own: I went lunching with my mom and grandmom and spent the afternoon shopping with them.

I probably won't be able to post a picture everyday, but I will update this blog as often as possible. ;)
